Château Haut Macô Rosé Bordeaux France
Varietal:
Bordeaux Red Blend
Appellation:
Tauriac, Côtes de Bourg
Composition:
60% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Malbec
It is an aromatic wine with a nose that has lovely notes of strawberry, cherry, cranberry and rhubarb while the palate showcases much of the same fruit but with a dollop of lush cream. It has perfectly balanced acid making it fresh but not overly zesty, and a trace of tannins making it extra food friendly.
Gorgeous rhubarb/cranberry crossover and just the barest amount of tannin gives it that ‘je ne sais quoi’.
