“The 2012 ‘Mon Chevalier’ is deep garnet colored with a touch of brick. It opens with maturing notes of cigar box, fruitcake, and dried Provence herbs, over a core of baked plums and boysenberry preserves with an emerging undercurrent of blackcurrant pastilles.
